Why?? Why!!??? Episode 4 (finale)

With time, I let it get to my head and I became proud; my family enjoyed the fame and respect that cane with it and my wife became proud too, showing the glamorous dresses as they called her sweet names. My children were revered in school... Touching was like touching the apple of the kings eye... They were high and lofty.

Then one day!!!! That awful day!!!!  I saw Mike and boom! My head snapped, this dude owes me money o! See as he's eating that meat pie o!!! Does he know who I am? Let me even stop him sef mcheeww!
"Good evening Sir, how is your family?"
"Which family? Wetin concern my family and that yeye meat pie wey you dey chop so?" I responded
"You are here eating meat pie like you own the whole world when you are still owing me abi? Oya wey my money?"
I grabbed his collar before he even had the chance to talk. He fell on his knees and begged me for more time. I wouldn't have any of that at all. I slapped him hard for him to realize that I was in charge!!! He can't mess with me: THE KING'S FAVORITE! I kicked him and finally I called the officers to take home away until he can give me my money. I looked around, no one saw me; or so I thought. I forgot that "we are encompassed about by a cloud of witnesses" Guess who saw me... Those guys I drank with, that I started hanging with. They saw me, they didn't scold me at all, they didn't talk to me about it. They went straight to the king who was at dinner with the Prince.

"My Lords, you won't believe what we just witnessed moments ago! That man whom you so loved that you forgave his debts, that you paraded about as your favorite, that you called his children the apple of your eyes, he has betrayed that love o;  He saw Mike his fellow servant on the way and beat him up for eating meat pie before paying him his debt. A mere #10,000 oh! Chai!!! You should have seen him beating Mike with such confidence ehn!!... As though Mike was a thief, as though he himself have never owed a penny in his life. Mike is currently bleeding in the prison right now!!"
There was absolute silence at the dinning room, a pin's fall would sound like an amplified siren song. Then came the roar!!!! Even my accusers were terrified and took to their heels. I was arrested and battered mercilessly and by the time I was arraigned before the King, I was missing a few teeth. The prince was not present this time but my wife and children were. Every word the king spoke was like hail stone dropping on my head.
Then the Prince walked in! I was overjoyed, He would plead my course again!!! I will be forgiven!!! But as he walked in, the king left the throne room and the Prince sat on the throne of judgement!
That was when I realized.... My fate was sealed! He didn't smile this time, he didn't cry either. His countenance was like furnace, when he spoke the ground shook, I could hear thunderings, I trembled.

Then he turned to me and said..."I pleaded with my father to forgive you, I played all your debts without afflicting you at all. Why didn't you do the same to your fellow servant? Was his debts more grievous than yours? Why did you do it?
Honestly speaking I don't know why I did it, but I did. I begged the Judge , I cried, I rolled, I wailed, my tears formed a brook, but the die was cast, my family was accused of never cautioning me and for contributing to my crimes. My new born baby girl was taken by the prince, who said she was the only innocent one! The rest of us were scourged , beaten, and sold!
My new master is terrible, I haven't had water to drink in 3 months now. This place is terrible!! See my testimony and beware of the potholes I fell into DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES I MADE!!... But if you have, if the judge hasn't summoned you yet, there's still hope o... He will not pity when you are summoned o.... The time is NOW!!!
